President Prabowo Subianto addressed the 18th National Assembly of the Young Indonesian Entrepreneurs Association (HIPMI) in Bandar Lampung on 10 June 2026. He said Indonesian entrepreneurs carry many "sins" and warned them not to violate legal regulations.

Prabowo highlighted his long‑standing familiarity with senior HIPMI figures such as Bambang Wiyogo and Abdul Latief, and emphasized that past actions should not hinder progress. Citing the rise of artificial‑intelligence tools that can quickly analyse documents, he pledged to monitor business conduct closely and intervene if legal breaches occur.

The speech called on the business community to move forward responsibly, comply with existing laws, and embrace the changing technological environment.
