Primavera do Leste launches socio-environmental education project

The municipality of Primavera do Leste recently hosted the conclusion of the “Educando com Arte” (Educating with Art) project. Developed by Rumo and Prosul in partnership with the Maria Dallafiora Costa Municipal School, the socio-environmental education initiative aimed to teach students about environmental preservation, railway safety, local fauna and flora, and selective waste collection.

To mark the project's end, students participated in various creative activities, including drawing contests, model building, and a fashion show featuring clothing made from recycled materials. School director Laudicea Stresser noted that the partnership helps prepare students for the changes coming to the municipality due to new railway developments, specifically regarding safety norms and local integration.
