Prime Minister Le Minh Hung conducts official visit to Laos and Cambodia

Vietnamese Prime Minister Le Minh Hung conducted an official visit to Laos and Cambodia from October 8 to 10, aimed at strengthening bilateral ties and regional cooperation. In Laos, the visit was highlighted by media outlets as a demonstration of the high priority Vietnam places on its relationship with its neighbor, marking Le Minh Hung’s first official overseas trip since assuming his role.

During the visit to Laos, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung met with President Thongloun Sisoulith and Prime Minister Saleumxay Kommasith. Discussions focused on maintaining political trust and expanding cooperation across various sectors, including defense and investment. Key outcomes included the exchange of 11 cooperation documents and the launch ceremony for the Laos-Vietnam Friendship University project.
