Organisers plan to transport participants in electric cars, e‑rickshaws, e‑scooters and CNG buses and to showcase the country’s first hydrogen‑powered train, which they describe as a historic technological achievement.

During his overseas trip, Modi addressed an audience of about 30,000 people at the Marvel Stadium in Melbourne on July 9. The event, co‑hosted with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan, was presented as a celebration of India‑Australia partnership and the Indian diaspora’s contribution. Organisers rejected claims from Indian opposition leaders that attendees were paid to attend, stating that participants covered their own travel and accommodation costs and that no public funds were used.
