Prime Minister Tarique Rahman visits Durga Puja mandaps across three divisions

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is conducting a multi-divisional tour of Bangladesh to visit Durga Puja mandaps during the Mahanavami celebrations. His itinerary includes stops in Rangpur, Rajshahi, and Chattogram.

In Rangpur, the Prime Minister visited the Radha Govinda Temple to exchange greetings with devotees. During roadside gatherings in Taraganj and Paglapir, he emphasized religious harmony, stating, “Religion is for individuals, but the state belongs to everyone.” He stressed that all citizens, regardless of faith, possess equal dignity and rights within the country.

The tour continues to Rajshahi, where the Prime Minister is scheduled to visit the Dharmasabha Temple and address a public meeting at the historic Madrasa Maidan. Following his activities in Rajshahi, he will travel to Chattogram to visit the J.M. Sen Hall mandap before returning to Dhaka.
