Prime Video expands suspense film offerings

Prime Video is increasing its investment in suspense productions to cater to high consumer demand for the genre. Data from the 2024 Film Consumer Journey survey indicates that suspense is among the most watched categories in Brazil, alongside action, adventure, and comedy.

Key upcoming or featured titles include ‘Bailarina’ (2025), an action-suspense film set in the ‘John Wick’ universe starring Ana de Armas. The story follows a young woman seeking vengeance within the Ruska Roma organization. Another notable production is ‘M3gan 2.0’ (2025), a sequel to the 2022 horror film, which explores themes of artificial intelligence regulation and follows the character Gemma.
