LOL Next comedy show to premiere on Prime Video

Prime Video is launching ‘LOL Next’, a new spin-off of the comedy format ‘LOL: Last One Laughing’. The show features ten internet-based comedians competing to make one another laugh without laughing themselves.

This version introduces stricter rules compared to the original format: while the predecessor allowed one warning, a single laugh in ‘LOL Next’ results in immediate elimination. The competition is also shorter, consisting of four episodes where participants spend four hours together per round. The winner receives 50,000 euros for charity.

Hazel Brugger serves as the host, and Tagesschau presenter Susanne Daubner will appear as a guest, potentially acting as a comedic trap for the contestants. The participant lineup includes internet personalities such as Aditotoro, Helge Mark, Laura Larsson, Maria Ziffy, Marti Fischer, Freshtorge, Paul Luca Fischer, SelfieSandra, Phil Laude, and Alina Bock.
