Prince Ebrima Sanyang outlines EFF-Gambia policy agenda

Prince Ebrima Sanyang, leader of the Economic Freedom Fighters–The Gambia (EFF-Gambia), has unveiled a comprehensive governance agenda focused on social protection, healthcare, and security reforms.

To address economic instability, Sanyang pledged a monthly Family Relief Package for low-income households and a D1,500 monthly dignity grant for all senior citizens. His healthcare platform includes a ‘1 Village, 1 Clinic’ initiative supported by community ambulances to improve medical access in rural areas.

Regarding security and governance, the EFF-Gambia leader proposed decentralizing emergency services through ‘One District, One Fire and Rescue’ and ‘One Community, One Police Station’ programs. Sanyang also committed to a zero-tolerance corruption policy, promising real-time budget monitoring, the public disclosure of government contracts, and increased transparency in ministry performance reports.
