Prince George aircraft emergency landing kills one

A Beechcraft King Air 200, operated by Sekani Air Ltd., made an emergency landing on Foothills Boulevard in Prince George, British Columbia, on the afternoon of August 20, 2026. During the landing, the aircraft collided with at least two vehicles, resulting in the death of one vehicle occupant at the scene.

Evergold Corp. confirmed that two members of its exploration team, who were traveling from the Golden Lion Project, were on board the aircraft.
