Prince George RCMP seek witnesses in serious pedestrian collision

The Prince George RCMP are investigating a collision on the Hart Highway that left a pedestrian seriously injured. The incident occurred shortly before 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, August 9, in the 1700-block of the northbound lane.

At the time of the collision, the pedestrian was described as wearing a reddish-colored hoodie and dark pants, and carrying a red backpack. Authorities are searching for an early 2000s Ford F150 Supercrew truck believed to be involved. The vehicle is described as two-tone navy and grey with aftermarket running boards and oversized tires.

Police are requesting that anyone with dash camera footage or information regarding the incident or the vehicle contact the Prince George RCMP non-emergency line or submit an anonymous report through Northern B.C. Crime Stoppers.
