Prince George hit-and-run investigations
Overview
The Prince George RCMP have launched investigations into two separate hit-and-run incidents involving pedestrians.
On August 9, a pedestrian was seriously injured in a collision on the Hart Highway. Authorities are searching for an early 2000s two-tone navy and grey Ford F150 Supercrew truck with oversized tires that was involved in the incident.
On August 12, a nine-year-old child was struck by a slow-moving vehicle on Sinclair Road. The child was not seriously harmed. Police are seeking information regarding a white Ford Escape, potentially marked by a diagonal scratch on the front passenger side, and a female driver described as a Caucasian woman in her 60s with long grey hair.
