Prince William and Princess of Wales move to Forest Lodge
The Prince and Princess of Wales have moved into Forest Lodge, a renovated historic residence located within Windsor Great Park in Berkshire. The move follows their previous residence at Adelaide Cottage in Windsor, which they occupied after leaving Kensington Palace in 2022.
Forest Lodge, originally known as Holly Grove when constructed in the 1770s, offers the family more space and privacy than their previous home. The transition comes after a period of significant personal challenges for the royal family, including the death of Queen Elizabeth II and health diagnoses for both King Charles III and Catherine.
Other members of the British Royal Family maintain varying levels of wealth derived from inheritances, royal salaries, and private business ventures. For instance, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie have estimated fortunes of approximately $1 million each, while Queen Camilla’s wealth is estimated at $5 million.
