Prishtina court detains Serbian citizen for five criminal offenses
The Basic Court in Prishtina has ordered a one-month pre-trial detention for a Serbian citizen, identified by the initials I. M., who is suspected of five criminal offenses. The charges include forming a group for unconstitutional activities, endangering persons under international protection, participating in a crowd committing criminal acts and hooliganism, attacking an official, and unauthorized possession of weapons.
The court determined that detention is an adequate measure due to the real risk that the suspect might flee to avoid criminal responsibility, noting that as a Serbian citizen, he could more easily evade justice authorities if released.
