Law enforcement actions in Albania and Kosovo involve arrests and fraud investigations

In Albania, former police official Uljan Shpataraku has been transferred to Peqin prison following a court decision to hold him in custody. Shpataraku was arrested on August 26 while driving a vehicle containing Ergys Agasi, a businessman wanted by SPAK for various crimes including money laundering and corruption. Shpataraku faces charges of aiding a criminal authority.

In Kosovo, authorities in Mitrovica have detained four individuals suspected of using telecommunications and technological devices to assist candidates during written driver's license exams. During the investigation, police confiscated communication devices and mobile phones.

Additionally, a police intervention in Prizren regarding loud music at a family gathering escalated into a confrontation. Three individuals were arrested, and two police officers sustained minor injuries during the incident, which is being investigated as an attack on an official.
