Procuraduría investigates Saber 11 exam registration irregularities in Colombia

The Procuraduría General de la Nación has launched a preliminary investigation into officials from the Girón Secretary of Education in Santander and the Miguel Sánchez Hinestroza Educational Institution. The probe follows reports of irregularities regarding the collection and payment of registration fees for the Saber 11 exams.

As a result of these alleged irregularities, more than 38 students were forced to take the state exam late. Authorities are investigating which officials were responsible for the registration and payment process and why the procedures were not completed within the established deadlines. The Procuraduría has requested financial records, registration logs, and administrative reports to identify those responsible.
