Progress Party leads Norway poll with 32% support
A new opinion poll conducted by InFact for Nettavisen shows Norway's Progress Party (FrP) at 32% support, a rise of 0.5 percentage points, making it the country's largest party. The Labour Party (Ap) follows at 24.5%, up 2.9 points, while the Conservative Party (H) falls to 13.4%, down 0.9 points.
The poll projects a clear right‑wing majority in parliament, with 92 seats for the governing bloc against 77 for the red‑green opposition. FrP leader Sylvi Listhaug described the result as good, and political scientist Jonas Stein of the University of Tromsø said she would become prime minister if the poll reflected an election outcome. The survey sampled 1,132 respondents, with a margin of error between 1 and 3.1 percent.
