Prong releases new single 'The Banner' ahead of self‑titled album

New York‑based alternative metal band Prong has issued the first single, “The Banner”, from their upcoming self‑titled album due out on November 6 through Napalm Records. Frontman Tommy Victor said the track showcases “razor‑sharp, precision‑driven riffs” and praised Andy Sneap’s “blistering and ferocious” mix and master.

The album, also titled Prong, will feature 13 tracks blending industrial metal, thrash, alternative rock and New York hardcore, with bonus songs “Out Of Body” and “Cruel Summer”. A European tour is slated to begin in November, with dates in Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Greece and other countries.
