Prong self-titled album announcement
Entities: Prong · Andy Sneap · Napalm Records · Tommy Victor
Overview
In early July 2026 veteran New York metal band Prong confirmed a self‑titled album for 6 November 2026 on Napadel Records, their first release with the label. The record will contain 11 core tracks plus two bonus songs, mixed and mastered by Andy Sneap, and frontman Tommy Victor suggested it may be the band’s strongest work yet, featuring faster tempos, heavier riffs and memorable choruses.
A European “Uprising” tour was announced to run from 13 November in Germany through 22 November in Greece, hitting the Netherlands, Belgium and Denmark. On 7 July the band clarified release formats – CD, multiple vinyl editions and digital – and noted the tour will open in Rheine, Germany. A 15 July notice reiterated the November 6 release date and highlighted the album’s blend of thrash, industrial, alternative‑rock and hardcore influences.
On 4 August Prong issued the first single, “The Banner”, describing its “razor‑sharp, precision‑driven riffs” and praising Sneap’s “blistering” mix. The single confirms the album will feature 13 tracks in total, with bonus songs “Out Of Body” and “Cruel Summer”, and reaffirms the November European tour dates.
