Prosecutor found alive after plane crash in Beni, Bolivia

Prosecutor Juan Benjo Huchani Alpiri has been found alive following a plane crash in the Beni department of Bolivia. Huchani, who had been reported missing after the accident, was located with minor injuries. According to police reports, he left the crash site on foot to seek assistance and facilitate the rescue of other occupants.

The aircraft, a small plane with registration CP-928, crashed on Friday morning while a commission of prosecutors was conducting a flight to investigate cattle theft in the region. The pilot, Captain Erlan Coca Gutiérrez, was killed in the accident.

Two other prosecutors, Hans Cristian Estenssoro Trigoso and Juana Guevara Paniagua, were successfully evacuated on Friday and are currently receiving medical attention. Search and rescue personnel were deployed to the area to transport Huchani to a medical center for evaluation.
