Joko Winterscheidt and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf launch new Iceland travel series

German entertainers Joko Winterscheidt and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf are launching a new television format titled "Joko & Klaas machen Urlaub" (Joko & Klaas on Vacation). Moving away from the competitive nature of their previous show, "Das Duell um die Welt," the new six-part series focuses on a road trip through Iceland.

Scheduled to begin streaming on Joyn on August 26, 2026, with subsequent broadcasts on ProSieben on September 2 and 9, the show blends elements of reportage, survival, and reality TV. The production highlights the duo's differing travel preferences, such as Klaas's preference for camping in a motorhome versus Joko's desire for hotels and guided glacier tours.

In addition to the new series, the documentary series "Amore unter Palmen" is also set to premiere on Joyn, following the romantic journeys of several individuals in locations such as Thailand and Gambia.
