Protests held in Argentina and Mexico seeking justice for victims

In Barreal, San Juan, residents and family members held a demonstration to demand justice for Camila Vecchiarello. Her father traveled from Rosario to participate in the mobilization and follow the judicial process. The community gathered to support the family and call for the clarification of the crime that took the life of the young woman, who had been pursuing studies to join the Gendarmerie.

In Guanajuato, the family of Miguel González Aguilar protested outside the Municipal Presidency to demand information regarding his disappearance on July 26. While the family suspects his body may be at the Semefo, the State Attorney General's Office (FGE) has denied having it. Relatives reported receiving telephone threats to cease their search and expressed deep distress over the lack of progress in the investigation.
