Province of Benevento updates PNRR school and infrastructure projects

The Province of Benevento has provided an update on the implementation of projects funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) and the National Complementary Plan. According to President Nino Lombardi, the investments focus on three main areas: school construction, digitalization, and road infrastructure in internal areas.

Regarding school buildings, ten interventions have been initiated under Mission 4 of the PNRR to improve safety and requalify educational facilities. As of August 5, 2026, two projects are 100% complete, while six others are between 85% and 98% finished. Two remaining projects have received extensions until August 31, 2026, to ensure completion, with current progress levels reported at 54% and 74% respectively.
