Province of Pesaro and Urbino clears storm‑blocked roads after heavy winds
Heavy rain and strong gusts struck the Pesaro, Fano and upper Cesano Valley areas, bringing down trees and branches that forced temporary closures on provincial roads.
The Province of Pesaro and Urbino deployed teams throughout the night, starting around 1:30 a.m., to secure and clear more than thirty affected routes. Major roads addressed included SP 32 Pesaro‑Mombaroccio, SP 5 Mondaviese, SP 49 Cavallara, SP 40 Barbanti, SP 80 Carrara, SP 103 Bargni, SP 34 Colbordolo, SP 103 Serrungarina, SP 16 Orcianese and the Panoramica San Bartolo. All roads have been reopened and are now passable. Provincial officials thanked police and fire services for their cooperation and said crews will continue monitoring and cleaning the network during the day.
