Przywidz: Woman rescued from bog during mushroom picking
A 66-year-old woman from Tczew was rescued after becoming trapped waist-deep in a bog while mushroom picking in the Przywidz municipality on Sunday, September 20. The incident occurred after 3:00 PM when the woman entered marshy terrain and found herself unable to move without sinking deeper.
The woman's 40-year-old daughter, who was with her at the time, alerted authorities. Authorities have issued reminders for mushroom pickers to avoid wandering alone, stay in contact with companions, and inform relatives of their whereabouts and expected return times.
