PSOE accuses Feijóo of covering for Móstoles mayor

The Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE) has accused People's Party (PP) leader Alberto Núñez Feijóo of covering for the mayor of Móstoles, Manuel Bautista. The accusations follow Bautista's indictment for alleged sexual and workplace harassment against a former municipal councilor.

Socialist leaders criticized Feijóo for failing to take responsibility 206 days after the case first came to light, labeling the period as “206 days of cover-up” and “206 days protecting the aggressor.” The judicial investigation into the mayor is ongoing, with Bautista scheduled to testify on October 9 alongside five witnesses.
