PSOE demands preservation of school bus routes in Vícar

The PSOE has demanded that the Junta de Andalucía maintain school bus routes in Vícar, Almería, following plans to reduce stops and eliminate services. The proposed cuts would affect approximately 130 families in the area.

Political representatives, including José Nicolás Ayala and Rodrigo Sánchez, inspected the four-kilometer route that students aged 12 to 16 would be forced to walk if the service is withdrawn. Local officials and parent associations have expressed concerns regarding the safety and difficulty of the trek. The PSOE intends to bring the conflict to the Andalusian Parliament to seek an immediate rectification of the decision.
