PSOE Madrid holds municipal primaries in three towns

The Madrid branch of the PSOE has concluded the first phase of its municipal primary process. While candidates have already been confirmed in twenty-five municipalities, three towns with populations exceeding twenty thousand residents—Boadilla del Monte, Pinto, and Colmenar Viejo—will hold competitive primaries.

In Boadilla del Monte, Alessandra del Mónaco Rubio and Rubén Darío Jaimes Chacón are competing. In Colmenar Viejo, the candidates are Daniel Gómez Sanchidrián and Paloma Maroñas Aveleiras. In Pinto, Jaume Cortina Silvestre will face Juan Diego Ortiz González.

The next stage involves the collection of endorsements between September 9 and September 16. Successful candidates will proceed to an internal campaign from September 17 to September 25, with the first vote scheduled for September 26. If necessary, a second round will be held on October 3.
