PSOE names Fran Lozano as mayoral candidate for Úbeda

Juan Latorre, the Secretary General of the PSOE in Jaén, has announced Fran Lozano as the socialist candidate for Mayor of Úbeda in the 2027 municipal elections. During a visit to the city's fair, Latorre expressed confidence that Lozano is prepared to continue the party's management of the municipality.

Latorre highlighted recent investments in Úbeda, noting that over 20 million euros have been allocated to address storm damage, with 17 million euros going directly to local farmers and 3 million euros for infrastructure repairs. Other strategic projects mentioned include the reopening of the Civil Guard Academy with an investment exceeding 45 million euros, and various interventions in historic sites such as the Palacio Vázquez de Molina and the Hospital de Santiago.
