PSOE addresses public education and catering concerns in Andalusia

The PSOE has launched a series of meetings with unions to address concerns regarding public education in Andalusia. In Jaén, party representatives met with CCOO to discuss budget cuts and the deterioration of complementary services. Specific issues raised include significant disruptions to school transportation, affecting over 1,600 students, and the use of temporary contracts to manage transport needs.

In Algeciras, the PSOE is also bringing grievances from families at the Mediterráneo-Luis Uncitide public school to the Andalusian Parliament. Parents have protested against the school's catering service, alleging that the transition from a dedicated cook to a catering system has compromised both the quality and quantity of meals. Representatives claim some children are returning home hungry, prompting calls for explanations from the regional Ministry of Educational Development.
