PSPV-PSOE announces municipal candidates in Torrevieja and La Vila Joiosa

The PSPV-PSOE party has announced new candidates for upcoming municipal elections in various Spanish locations.

In Torrevieja, Bárbara Soler, the current spokesperson for the Socialist Municipal Group and secretary general of the local socialists, has officially presented her candidacy. Soler stated she is approaching the process with “responsibility, decision and much illusion,” aiming to build a political alternative to govern and transform the city for the 2027 elections.

In La Vila Joiosa, Marta Mingot Soriano has been named the PSPV-PSOE candidate for Mayor. Mingot, 42, cited her long-standing involvement in local social life and associative networks as the foundation for her candidacy. Her platform focuses on municipal politics driven by proximity to citizens, with priorities including youth opportunities, support for local commerce, and assistance for vulnerable populations.
