PSPV-PSOE municipal candidate designations

Overview

The PSPV-PSOE party has continued designating candidates for the May 2027 municipal elections across several Spanish locations.

In Vinaròs, Guillem Alsina was named the official mayoral candidate following a local primary process where he was the sole candidate to submit his candidacy. As the party spokesperson, he aims to revalidate his leadership and maintain the party’s governance in the city.

Additionally, the PSOE has presented Isabel Pérez Ortiz as its candidate for the Mayoralty of Marbella. An architect by profession, Pérez Ortiz aims to establish a ‘government for the people,’ focusing on housing, mobility, and the defense of public services. Her candidacy received support from regional and provincial leaders, as well as the symbolic endorsement of former mayor José Bernal.
