PT PAL's Transformation Accelerated by Danantara Asset Management Support

Danantara Asset Management (DAM) reaffirmed its commitment to speed up the transformation of PT PAL Indonesia, a strategic national asset, by strengthening corporate governance, risk management and the adoption of advanced technologies. Chairman Rabin Indrajad Hattari said the shipyard must be backed by a healthy corporation and good governance to meet the growing strategic assignments from the government, and praised PT PAL’s disciplined project‑management system.

PT PAL CEO Kaharuddin Djenod added that the overhaul aims not only to boost productivity but also to build a broader maritime ecosystem, increase domestic component content (TKDN) and generate extensive direct and indirect employment, delivering a multiplier effect for the national economy. DAM will continue urging government support for PT PAL’s strategic programmes.
