PT Perusahaan Gas Negara launches Energi Mengajar Negeri 2026 program

PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero) Tbk (PGN) has implemented the Energi Mengajar Negeri 2026 program, involving 61 employee volunteers to reach more than 1,300 students and educators across 10 locations in Indonesia.

The initiative, which commemorates the 61st anniversary of PGN, a Pertamina gas subholding, ran from September 16 to October 26, 2026. The program began in Bangka Regency and concluded in Banyuwangi. Participating locations included Pangkalpinang, Cirebon, Karawang, Pasuruan, Pagar Dewa in Lampung, Kendal, Cilegon, and Banyuwangi.

Volunteers engaged with elementary school students, particularly those near PGN operational areas, to share learning experiences and encourage self-confidence and career aspirations. In addition to educational sessions, the program provided schools with various assistance, including learning tools, extracurricular and sports equipment, and mobility aids for students with disabilities.
