Public accounting training and anti-corruption initiatives launched in Haiti and Djibouti
In Haiti, the Anti-Corruption Unit (ULCC) held a session for 30 new assistant public accountants from the Ministry of Economy and Finance. The initiative, led by Operations Director Marie Ange Jean, aims to assist these new agents in complying with the law of February 12, 2008, regarding the declaration of their assets.
In Djibouti, the Financial Application Center (CAF) of the Ministry of Budget, in partnership with the French Development Agency (AFD) and with technical support from Expertise France, launched a training workshop on public accounting. Running from September 27 to October 1, 2026, the program is designed to strengthen the skills of officials involved in state budgetary and financial management. The workshop focuses on accounting principles, financial procedures, and the management of public resources.
