Public institutions receive Best HRD certification for 2026

The Yongin Cultural Foundation and the Korea Institute of Agriculture Food Technology Planning and Evaluation (IPET) have both been re-certified as Best Human Resources Development (Best HRD) institutions for 2026.

During an award ceremony held at the Sejong National Research Complex, the Yongin Cultural Foundation received its fourth consecutive certification, having previously been recognized in 2017, 2020, and 2023. The Best HRD certification is a system managed by the Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education and Training and overseen by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Personnel Management to encourage investment in human resource development within public institutions.

IPET, which was previously recognized as a top-tier institution among other public organizations in 2023, was also honored for its systematic management and development of human resources. The institute has focused on job-oriented recruitment, customized talent cultivation, and fostering an organizational culture that supports voluntary learning. Certified institutions receive incentives such as the use of the official certification logo and exemption from regular labor inspections for three years.
