Overview

Several South Korean public institutions have received the Best Human Resources Development (Best HRD) certification for 2026. This certification system is managed by the Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education and Training and overseen by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Personnel Management or the Ministry of Employment and Labor.

The Yongin Cultural Foundation and the Korea Institute of Agriculture Food Technology Planning and Evaluation (IPET) were re-certified for 2026. The Yongin Cultural Foundation received its fourth consecutive certification, while IPET was recognized for its focus on job-oriented recruitment and customized talent cultivation.

Additionally, the Korea Railroad Research Institute (KRRI) was named one of only four public sector institutions to receive the highest distinction.
