Public Ministry of Mato Grosso launches free women's workshops in Cuiabá

The Public Ministry of Mato Grosso (MPMT) is running free workshops for women at the MP Por Elas space in Shopping Três Américas, Cuiabá, through the Diálogos com a Sociedade project. The program, which runs until the end of July, is offered in partnership with Senac, Shopping das Unhas and the municipal government and covers topics such as beauty and aesthetics, female entrepreneurship, marketing, well‑being, personal development and job‑market qualification.

Subprocuradora‑geral Januária Dorilêo stressed that “financial autonomy is a fundamental step for women to have more freedom, security and self‑esteem.” In addition to the training sessions, the space hosts a memorial exhibition on femicide victims, a counseling room for vulnerable women, and the Cabide Solidário solidarity project.

The initiative aims to strengthen women's financial independence, self‑confidence and citizenship, while also providing information on domestic‑violence prevention.
