Public Honor Schools in Greece open supplementary exam applications

The Governing Committee of Public Honor Schools (D.E. DIM. O. S.) has announced a supplementary examination process for student admissions for the 2026-2027 school year. The application deadline is Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., via the gov.gr digital platform.

This procedure aims to fill vacant positions in the second grade of Middle and High Schools that operated during the 2025-2026 year, as well as vacancies in the first grade where candidate lists have been exhausted. Applicants can select up to one Public Honor School where positions are available. Students currently enrolled in another Public Honor School are ineligible to participate.

Supplementary exams will take place on Wednesday, September 9, 2026. The assessment will consist of written tests covering Greek language comprehension and mathematical concepts. Students must arrive by 09:00 for a 10:00 start. Results are expected to be announced before the beginning of the academic year.

For the 2026-2027 school year, the network will consist of 20 school units across Greece, including 10 Middle Schools and 10 General High Schools. Recent expansions include new units in Aegaleo, Rhodes, Heraklion, and Pyrgos.
