Public transport payment updates in Gran Concepción and Venado Tuerto

In Gran Concepción, Chile, the sale of electronic payment cards for public transport is scheduled to begin on November 2. This launch includes the opening of the first User Service Center located in San Pedro de la Paz. The system, managed by BusappConce, will enter a mixed payment trial period starting December 1, which will run through February 2027. A full transition to 100% electronic payments, eliminating cash on board, is set for March 1, 2027.

In Venado Tuerto, Argentina, the municipal government is expanding its “Red SUBE en tu Barrio” program. New personalized service operations for SUBE card registration and transit-related procedures will take place in the Iturbide and Santa Rosa neighborhoods on November 3 and November 5, respectively. This initiative was developed in response to community feedback regarding the need for localized access to transportation services.
