Public trust in Prabowo-Gibran administration remains high

Recent surveys indicate strong public trust in the administration of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka. A Poltracking Indonesia survey reported a trust level of 64.8 percent, a slight increase from 63.2 percent in August 2026. However, a gap exists between trust and performance satisfaction, with only 55.3 percent of respondents expressing satisfaction with the government's performance.

Separately, research from the Voxpol Center shows a trust level of 63.1 percent. Voxpol noted that this optimism is widespread across various demographics and regions, with the highest levels of confidence recorded in the Bali–NTB–NTT region at 88.40 percent, followed by Sulawesi at 75.60 percent and Maluku–Papua at 71.30 percent. The Voxpol report suggests this trust provides a strategic foundation for the government to implement priority programs and strengthen legitimacy.
