Puebla government invests in hospital equipment and infrastructure

The government of Puebla is implementing a series of healthcare infrastructure and equipment upgrades. Through the ‘Obra Comunitaria’ program, the state aims to address needs in 57 IMSS-Bienestar hospitals with a total investment of 65 million pesos. This initiative focuses on repairing medical technology that has become inactive due to minor part failures.

Specifically, the Hospital General Zona Norte has received biomedical equipment and supplies worth over 2 million pesos, including portable ultrasound machines, vital signs monitors, and resuscitators. Additionally, the Hospital de la Niñez Poblana received a craneotome valued at approximately 1.57 million pesos, made possible through a partnership between the state and local business donors to improve surgical precision for pediatric patients.
