Puebla government begins rural road improvements in Nauzontla

The Government of Puebla, through the Secretariat of Infrastructure, has begun grading and leveling 1.56 kilometers of the Cuautapehual-La Unión rural road in the municipality of Nauzontla. This project in the Sierra Nororiental region aims to improve territorial integration and connectivity.

The road connects to major routes, including the La Cumbre–Cuetzalan and Nauzontla–Jonotla highways. The improvements are expected to benefit 731 residents by enhancing mobility, facilitating access to basic services, and supporting local commerce and agriculture, specifically for corn, bean, and coffee crops. The work is intended to reduce transportation times and costs for students, workers, and the movement of harvests to distribution centers.
