Puebla hosts 2026 Volleyball Master Festival with seven Zamora teams

Seven volleyball teams from Zamora, Michoacán are traveling to Puebla to compete in the National Master Volleyball Festival, which runs from July 26 to August 1, 2026. The delegation includes a Master Feminine squad (ages 30‑39), a Golden team (40‑49), two Diamond squads (60‑65) and additional representative teams. SAPAZ director Joel Romero, Sports director Ignacio Sandoval and municipal president Carlos Soto wished the athletes success and pledged to keep the public informed of results.

Puebla expects thousands of participants, coaches, families and fans, which should boost hotel occupancy, restaurant business and local commerce. The city has been selected as the host because of its sports infrastructure and experience organizing large‑scale national and international events, reinforcing its role as a key venue for high‑level competitions in Mexico.
