Puebla mayor Omar Muñoz launches paving project in San Lorenzo Almecatla

Municipal President Omar Muñoz inaugurated a paving works on Tierra y Libertad street in the San Lorenzo Almecatla auxiliary junta of Puebla. The project, funded with 3,731,413 pesos from municipal and state resources under the Por Amor a Puebla 2026 program, will place more than 2,251 square metres of pavers, construct sidewalks, install curbs and add street lighting. Muñoz said the work fulfills a pledge made before taking office, stressing that “the greatest virtue of any municipal president is to attend to citizens and be aware of their needs.” The initiative aims to improve mobility, strengthen road safety and provide better conditions for daily commuters.

The mayor toured the area with members of the council, infrastructure staff and auxiliary authorities, listening to residents’ concerns while supervising the start of the works. He pledged to continue advancing similar infrastructure projects to benefit families across the municipality.
