Puebla Mayor Pepe Chedraui Launches Second Phase of Street Paving in Ampliación Constitución Mexicana

Mayor Pepe Chedraui of Puebla inaugurated the second phase of the municipal #CallesAl100 street‑paving program on calle Artículo 9 in the Ampliación Constitución Mexicana neighbourhood. The work covers a 387‑metre stretch, 6 metres wide, and a total area of 2,182 square metres.

The project includes sub‑grade construction, a hydraulic base, curbs, tactile‑guided sidewalks for the visually impaired, ramps, bollards, horizontal and vertical signage and new lighting. It is expected to improve mobility and safety for more than 48,400 residents of the city’s southern sector.

The mayor said the initiative is part of a historic effort to renovate 4,410 streets across Puebla this year, coordinated with state and federal authorities to address longstanding infrastructure gaps.
