Puebla State Congress proposes voting system and web portal upgrades
The Technology, Innovation, and Sustainability Committee of the Puebla State Congress has presented a proposal to modernize the legislative voting system and the institution's web portal. Led by Deputy Ana Laura Gómez Ramírez, the initiative aims to improve the registration, publication, and accounting of legislative initiatives online.
Technical tests are already underway to enhance the voting system's reliability. One key component involves installing cabling for the tablets used during sessions to reduce reliance on Wi-Fi connections.
The project also seeks to strengthen internal mechanisms for managing legislative data. This will allow information to be organized by individual deputy or legislative group, facilitating better administration and decision-making. A second phase of the project intends to incorporate new technological tools to increase the accessibility of the Congress website and improve interaction with the public.
