Puerto Morelos approves new regulation for Oficialía Mayor

The Puerto Morelos City Council has approved a new Internal Regulation for the Oficialía Mayor. This measure updates and strengthens the regulatory framework governing the organization, powers, and procedures of this municipal department.

Mayor Blanca Merari Tziu Muñoz stated that the regulation aims to establish a solid foundation for future administrations. The new rules define the department's responsibility for managing human and material resources, training, information technology, general services, and municipal assets.

Additionally, the Council approved changes to the legal status of 277 movable assets and 102 intangible assets belonging to the municipality.
