Puerto Vallarta authorities secure 3.27-meter crocodile

Authorities in Marina Vallarta, Puerto Vallarta, successfully secured a large crocodile measuring 3.27 meters in length. The reptile was spotted on public streets at the intersection of Albatros and Pelícanos streets, prompting a response from the Green Patrol and local security forces.

According to Citizen Security officials, the crocodile is approximately 50 years old and bears the identification number 800. Following a complex capture operation designed to protect both the animal and the personnel, the crocodile was transferred to the Fluvial module. It is currently under the supervision of Environmental Sustainability and Estero El Salado personnel to ensure its safe reintegration into its natural habitat.
