Puerto Vallarta to host first Mexican HEAT Latin Music Awards

Puerto Vallarta will host the first Mexican edition of the HEAT Latin Music Awards, titled ‘HEAT Latin Music Awards Jalisco Style’. The event is scheduled to run from October 31 to November 5, coinciding with Mexico’s Day of the Dead celebrations.

Known as ‘HEAT Week’, the six-day program will be split between Guadalajara and Puerto Vallarta. The festivities will conclude with a gala ceremony on November 5 at the Puerto Vallarta International Convention Center. The event will be broadcast live via LosHeat.tv.

The awards will highlight regional Jalisco heritage through local art forms, including Tonalá ceramics, Wixárika beadwork, blown glass, traditional toys, and piteado leatherwork. Local artisans are collaborating to create the unique balloon-shaped trophies for the winners.

The ceremony will be hosted by six international personalities: Karime Pindter (Mexico), Caroline Aquino (Dominican Republic), La Segura (Colombia), Ignacio Baladán (Uruguay), Yohana Vargas (Venezuela), and Dímelo King (Colombia). Nominees are expected to be announced in the coming days.
