Puertollano police arrest four in drug trafficking operation
The Spanish National Police have arrested four individuals in Puertollano, Ciudad Real, following a series of operations targeting organized crime and drug trafficking.
During an initial interception, two suspects attempted to flee in a vehicle, throwing a package containing 1,147 grams of high-purity cocaine onto a rooftop. The pursuit involved a high-speed chase where the suspects crashed into a house and a police vehicle. During the attempt to stop them, one police officer was injured after being struck by the suspects' vehicle. The two individuals were eventually apprehended on foot after one attempted to hide in a private residence.
A subsequent operation led officers to a residence used for the production and distribution of cocaine. This second raid resulted in the arrest of a man and a woman, and the seizure of cocaine doses prepared for sale along with 2,760 euros in cash.
